ExecCap Advisors / ECA is an independent sponsor focused on entrepreneurship through acquisition in lower-middle market to middle market. ExecCap Advisors was founded by Jim Tolbert, a seasoned executive and investor with extensive experience across private equity, management consulting, and operating leadership. The new ECA Accelerator builds on ECA's work with individual searchers. It expands that work to whole cohorts of acquisition entrepreneurs: selecting them, developing them, helping them secure financing, and supporting them through the acquisition and beyond. The Accelerator is selective, searchers pay no upfront fees to join, and ECA's economics are tied to the searchers’ success. We are forming a twelve-member Founding Advisory Board to mentor our inaugural cohort of searchers; to expand our access to investors, operators and talent pipelines from industry and universities; and to help build the Accelerator into a lasting institution.
