I am a first time solo searcher in the process of raising search capital.
I have thought about starting a Search Fund for quite some time, and in the process I have convinced myself that doing a US based search as an international searcher has great potential and it is what works best for me. I have read Jim Sharpe's blog about many success stories of international searchers in the US, but I also understand that it does not come without corresponding challenges.
I would really appreciate talking to searchers that have gone through this process to better understand their experience, as well as to identify investors that are open to this path.
