We've found a small (£400k EBITDA) energy and procurement advisory with 20 FTEs. Founder is retiring and it needs a new CEO.

We will acquire a majority stake at 3-4x and intend to put more capital into it - contingent on finding the right person to run it. The founder will stay involved for a two year transition (and is keen to retain a significant slice of equity). We think it is unique because:
- It is a well known brand
- Has 800 SME customers; mostly recurring revenue
- Tailwinds in the sector and prospect to expand into carbon reporting and real asset (building) optimisation

It feels like a Search deal more than one for us so am keen to explore a partnership with a self-funded Searcher.
