Anyone here has experience searching while keeping their day job? How did you navigate the seller and investor landscape?

Self-funded, it should. be possible (though tricky). Search fund, I don't think this is possible. If attempting this self-funded, think about the flexibility of your corporate job - you will need to be able to move fast and be reactive once progressing a deal from LOI. Time kills deals and the time invested in searching alongside the day job could be wasted if something you have secured later slips through the net as you just can't keep the deal moving at sufficient pace. Or, worse still, you don't have time to carry out DD thoroughly but complete the deal anyway.

It is definitely possible, set aside time each day, if only a small amount, as small progress is better than none. Set your goals, stick with it and tell your family and friends what you are doing, so they can support you along the way!
