Hi everyone, just joined the SearchFunder community and wanted to introduce myself. I am an MSF student at Fordham University's Gabelli School of Business graduating December 2026, currently based in NYC/NJ. Currently, I work as a Deal Sourcing and Origination Analyst at a lower-middle-market private equity firm running roll-up acquisition strategies across fragmented industries. My day to day involves screening 80+ companies monthly, building full LBO models to assess buyout feasibility and investor returns, creating detailed acquisition profiles covering ownership structure, profit margins, debt to equity ratios, revenue growth and market positioning, and performing preliminary underwriting to evaluate overall transaction viability. Before this I interned at Equirus, an investment bank in Mumbai, where I supported 3 live M&A and IPO transactions end to end. I built DCF and comparable company models in Excel, Bloomberg and Capital IQ, prepared DRHP filings in compliance with SEBI regulations, and contributed to deal execution from pitch to close. I am SIE certified and a CFA Level 1 candidate. I am actively looking for a paid analyst opportunity to support a searcher or independent sponsor in New York. Whether that is deal screening, financial modeling, acquisition profiling, target outreach or preliminary diligence support, I can hit the ground running from day one.
