We're working hard to grow the Searchfunder community in DFW. Please take a moment to introduce yourself below. Some questions to consider answering: Where are you based? What is your background? What's your buy box? Have you acquired yet? Where do you need the most help right now? Where can you provide help to others? Anything else on your mind? We'll be able to have much deeper discussions if you can provide as much detail as possible. A paragraph or two is perfect. Be sure to tag (@) when replying to comments to make sure your sub-comments are read.

Hey there, based in Coppell. I'm an M&A and securities lawyer and run SMB Law Group with my partner Eric, where we represent searchers and sponsors on transactions between $1-50M. Also a pretty active investor in self funded search deals over the past few years. And then of course a searcher myself. My wife and I recently acquired the Dallas location of Supreme Wraps, and auto/marine wrap and tint company based in The Colony. My wife runs the business full time while I focus on my law practice. We plan to open a second location near Southlake in the near future, but are always looking for additional targets to acquired (preferably complimentary, so motorsports related or maybe print shop, etc., but doesn't necessarily have to be). We've been planning to start a regular local meetup for DFW, which we'll start next month, so watch for an event posting in the next few days!

Hey! I'm an SBA Lender based just north of Lakewood. Former EY CPA, I've been in SBA Lending for over 8 years now, specifically focusing on M&A work in DFW. I am third generation SBA - my dad has been an SBA Lender for 45 years, and my grandfather was the Chair to the National Advisory Board of the SBA during the Carter Administration. I am always happy to provide due diligence support as a second set of eyes on a transaction. The earlier I can get involved the better from a structuring and certainty-to-close perspective. I've done over 60MM+ in SBA deals over the past 3 years, and I love helping entrepreneurs get their deal across the finish line.
