We're working hard to grow the Searchfunder community in Atlanta. Please take a moment to introduce yourself below. Some questions to consider answering: Where are you based? What is your background? What's your buy box? Have you acquired yet? Where do you need the most help right now? Where can you provide help to others? Anything else on your mind? We'll be able to have much deeper discussions if you can provide as much detail as possible. A paragraph or two is perfect. Thanks @redacted‌ for the tag Hi everyone, great to meet folks in the Atlanta area! Based: Atlanta (Buckhead) Background: My background spans about 12 years across corporate operations, an MBA from Emory (Strategy, Operations, Finance, and Business Analytics), and most recently management consulting where I focused on top-line growth through pricing, marketing, and operational transformation. I also worked the first part of my career at The Coca-Cola Company, which gave me a strong foundation in process improvement and cross-functional leadership. I'm a native French speaker and also conversational in Spanish, which has been a real asset when building relationships across diverse teams. Buy box: 500K to $1.5M EBITDA, within about an hour of Atlanta, with at least five years of operating history and some management infrastructure already in place. On the industry side, I'm focused on services broadly (home, commercial, and business services) with a particular interest in electrical contractors and property maintenance. I plan to step into day-to-day operations and genuinely care about honoring what the seller has built. Important note: I'm partnering with a licensed electrician with 40+ years of experience; this significantly reduces the license friction point. Acquisition status: I have not acquired yet, so I'm particularly eager to learn from those who have navigated the SBA process, seller negotiations, and the early days of ownership. Need help with: Where I need the most help is deal flow, though I know I'm not alone there! More specifically, I would love warm introductions to brokers who have been genuinely helpful to buyers in this community. I am also putting out a direct ask: if anyone knows of electrical contractors or property maintenance businesses for sale in the Atlanta area, please reach out. That is exactly my sweet spot and I would love to connect. Can help with: using AI in deal review, getting a HELOC, consulting frameworks, or anything related to pricing and growth strategy to anyone who finds that useful.
