Funny how most people don’t realize this… But the search itself is a business. You need: • A steady deal pipeline • Outreach systems • Market research • Follow-ups • Networking • Consistency • And yes—capital You’re juggling operations, strategy, sales, and admin. The only difference is… you’re not generating revenue yet. But you’re spending time, effort, and money like a real business. Still, most people treat it like a solo project. No team. No systems. Just doing everything on their own. And that’s where burnout creeps in. Or momentum dies. If you’re thinking of building real momentum in your search, treat it like the business it already is. And every business grows faster with the right support. Need help building your search “team” with trained support on outreach, list-building, research, or admin? Send me an email at redacted and I will share how my team is helping searchers in their search journey.

I guess "Revenues" is quite an important part of what I am looking for when qualifying any activity as a Business, don't you ?

I certainly do. Thus, I used terms such as "like a real business" and "treat it like the business it already is."
