I reviewed the outreach statistics of a searcher who spent 24 months pursuing acquisitions but ultimately did not close a deal.
His metrics were as follows:
4% response rate from total owners contacted.
Of those responses, 14% resulted in the submission of an IOI.
Of the IOIs submitted, only 7% advanced to an LOI.
I'm curious how these numbers compare with your experience. Do these conversion rates seem typical, or have you seen different benchmarks for successful searchers?
