Hi all,

Is anyone out there who can point me toward searcher resources in Singapore?

Anything, in particular, would be helpful, but especially for setting up a fund in Singapore (i.e. lawyers, accountants, etc.?)

Many thanks!

Hi Gareth nice to meet you here.

Thanks Luke for the message, hope you are doing great!

I have done some little research here and the MAS (Monetary Authority Singapore) is a good place to start to find information about setting up the fund.

https://www.mas.gov.sg/regulation/capital-markets/fund-management-licensing-and-registration

Also I'm sharing below the website for setting up a local company in Singapore. This should include some important and useful info..

https://www.acra.gov.sg/how-to-guides/setting-up-a-local-company

In general I would say government websites, provide very detailed information and there are ways to send questions or even chat with officials to guide you.
Hope you find this helpful and please let me know of any further questions.

Best regards,
Panos

Hi ^redacted‌, Basic company setup is simple enough to do yourself via acra, simpler via a platform like https://osome.com/sg/ or a full service professional svc/advisory company like https://www.mfc.com.sg/ or https://csttax.com/en-sg/. Fund-specific constitutions and legal structure I can't help out unfortunately.
I'm happy to chat about how we can support pre-/post-close to make an acquisition a success - we work with SMEs and startups to get data right and can work with you on instrumenting metrics that matter for company performance.
