Position Overview: We are seeking a friendly and proactive Retail Manager to join our team. In this role, you’ll be the face of Flags Unlimited, handling customer interactions both in-person at our retail desk and online via email, chat, and phone. You’ll tackle a wide range of inquiries, from product recommendations to custom orders, ensuring every customer leaves satisfied. Key Responsibilities • Greet and assist customers in-store, providing expert advice on our flag and accessory selections. • Respond promptly to online inquiries, orders, and support requests from clients and prospects. • Troubleshoot and resolve customer issues with creativity and efficiency, such as sizing questions, material options, or shipping concerns. • Maintain accurate inventory records, process transactions, and ensure the retail space is organized and welcoming. • Collaborate with team members to support daily operations and contribute to a positive work environment. Qualifications • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills and a passion for customer service. • Excellent communication abilities, both verbal and written, with a genuine enjoyment of interacting with people daily. • Comfortable using basic computer systems, including point-of-sale software and online platforms. • Previous retail or customer service experience is preferred but not required—we value enthusiasm and a willingness to learn. • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 35 lbs occasionally.
