Job Description
Presidio Park Group is seeking a Search Fund Private Equity Intern who is a currently enrolled undergraduate student to support its founders in identifying and acquiring a private business. Interns will play an integral role and make significant impact in sourcing deals and evaluating potential acquisitions. Additionally, interns will gain valuable hands-on experience and exposure to live deals and transactions.
The position represents a unique opportunity for students pursuing careers in private equity, investment banking, consulting, and entrepreneurship. The fund’s founders have significant experience in investing and operations and can provide valuable insights into various aspects across industry research, valuation, investment banking, private equity, and business strategy.
Responsibilities
● Identify and evaluate potential investment opportunities
● Conduct research on industry niches
● Assist in marketing research and outreach
● Support due diligence on acquisition targets, including financial analysis, business model evaluation, and deal documentation
Qualifications
● Currently enrolled undergraduate student at a 4-year university
● Minimum 3.5 GPA (on a 4.0 scale)
● Entrepreneurial self-starter with strong work ethic and desire to learn
● Strong analytical abilities, research skills, and attention to detail
● Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal
Location & Timing
● June 2025 start date
● Some flexibility in time commitment but strong preference for 4-6 month minimum
● This role will be remote. The co-founders work out of an office in New York City.
