Looking for a search fund partner

I’m looking for a partner with a strong investment and deal execution background—someone who has actually closed transactions and can lead structuring and capital raising.
My background is heavily operational. I’ve spent the last 15+ years leading asset-heavy businesses with full P&L ownership, primarily in automotive and related services environments. Most recently, I was brought in at Hyundai Glovis to turn around an underperforming auction business that had been unprofitable for multiple years. Within roughly seven months, we stabilized operations and drove the business back to profitability through pricing discipline, throughput optimization, and operational restructuring.
Across my roles, I’ve consistently focused on increasing revenue per unit, improving conversion, and building scalable systems that translate directly into EBITDA growth. That includes initiatives like reworking operational flow to increase throughput, tightening condition grading and pricing strategy to drive higher conversion, and implementing real-time KPI tracking to manage performance at the ground level.
Earlier in my career, I acquired and scaled a small consumer business, growing it from a single distressed location into a multi-unit operation before exiting to a regional buyer. That experience gave me direct exposure to sourcing, structuring, operating, and ultimately exiting a business.
I view my role in a partnership as the operator and value creator—someone who can step into a business, identify inefficiencies quickly, and execute against a clear value creation plan. I’m looking to pair that with a partner who brings complementary strengths on the investment side—specifically deal structuring, capital raising, and disciplined underwriting—so together we can source, acquire, and scale businesses effectively.
