Bayou Bay Holdings is an acquisition holding company founded by two HBS MBA '27s executing acquisitions in the food supply chain. We're building our company by acquiring businesses with $500K+ EBITDA.
We're hiring interns to work directly with both partners across the full deal lifecycle. You'll be staffed on live deals currently in our pipeline, from first outreach through diligence and close.
Deal Sourcing
• Proprietary outreach - building and refining target lists, running our AI-powered sourcing campaigns
• Broker coverage - qualifying listings, managing broker relationships, tracking deal flow
• Industry research - mapping fragmentation, competitive dynamics, and consolidation opportunities across food supply chain verticals
Deal Execution
• Deal screening - evaluating CIMs and teasers against our investment criteria, preparing screening memos
• Financial modeling & valuation - building operating models, normalizing EBITDA, running comps and returns analyses on active targets
• Deal structuring - financing analysis
• Due diligence - drafting diligence request lists, analyzing customer concentration and revenue quality, participating in seller and advisor calls
Who we're looking for: Undergrads or MBA students interested in ETA, IB, PE, or lower-middle-market M&A. Self-starters comfortable with ambiguity. Bonus points for experience in the food industry.
Details: Remote with weekly in-person meetings on HBS campus (to the extent possible), 10-15 hrs/week, unpaid with meaningful mentorship.
