Scraping Scripts?

I have heard a few people mention they use scraping scripts for list building?  Any other programmers out there built these things?

These guys have build a good scraper program called Sniprabbit. They recently rebranded their software to Phylum Data. As trevor mentioned, the value deff depends on the data source used. I've known these guys for a while and they are really sharp and could probably help out a lot.
