SBA Lenders in Chicago Land Area

Curious if anyone has some good referrals for bankers in Chicago Land or surrounding areas. Looking to make a couple relationships and get some basic pre-qualification.

^redacted‌ Started my ETA search with lender networking ~2 years ago. Lots of options in the Chicago Land area. For getting basic pre-qualification / introductions, I'd suggest one of the monthly MBBI (Midwest Business Brokers & Intermediaries) events which are typically held in Oak Brook. I believe Tom Meyer is still the President of MBBI and he's a solid SBA lender with CenTrust that can help you with that. Another option I would recommend would be Jamie Lendway at Ivanhoe Capital (Pathward partner). For more deal-specific recommendations, there are nuances to each deal that are better suited for different lenders (asset heavy vs. light, small vs. large, pari passu, etc.) and some are just generally more conservative (or less likely to get you across the finish line) than others. There are a couple of local/regional SBA brokers that could help connect you with the right lender, but they prefer (or require?) you only work with them.
