I used it and at the time you could get a month for free. If they're still doing that you should try it out and decide for yourself. I agree with Chris above that most smaller companies owners are not active on LI. I used a script to scrape data with SN and ran into 2 significant problems. First, they purposely change the structure of the pages every few days so your script breaks so you constantly have to fix it. Second, there is a lot of bad data on there since anyone can create a LI page and the information will still be up there even if the company shuts down or is acquired. Having said that, I do think it can offer a lot of value depending on how you are using it and what you are trying to get out of it.

I think it can help, and it doesn't cost a whole lot. It would be difficult to rely on it. Demographically, I'm not so sure the owners of the companies that searchers have most successfully targeted - especially those needing a "succession plan" - are active on LI. That's going to make them difficult to target via SN. Sure, some of them will be, and in those cases SN will give you a means by which to target with them, and if they're especially active on LI, engage with them. But, it's not a substitute for a more complete database (such as Zoominfo).
