Job Description:
We are seeking ambitious and driven MBA students or recent graduates to join our team as Outbound Sales & Business Development Interns. This is an exciting opportunity to gain real-world experience and develop your skills in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. As an intern, you will work closely with our experienced team, contributing to various aspects of business development, including identifying potential sellers, initiating contact, and building relationships with business owners interested in exiting or engaging in joint ventures.
We believe in the adage "Nothing worth having comes easily." If you are serious about having a successful career in private equity or investment banking, you need to be humble and start from the bottom. There is no shame in that. But from the bottom is where the ultimate industry stars will be shaped. It won’t be easy, but the experience you’ll gain will be priceless. Deal-making is all about people. You must get good at dealing with people, not just numbers and financial models.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct market research to identify potential sellers and strategic partners.
- Initiate contact with business owners to explore a potential sale or joint venture opportunities.
- Assist in developing and executing outbound sales strategies.
- Prepare presentations, reports, and other documentation for internal and client use.
- Support the team in negotiations and deal execution.
- Participate in client meetings and calls, gaining exposure to high-level business discussions.
- Collaborate with team members on various projects and initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing or recently completed an MBA with a focus on sales, marketing, business, or a related field.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong interest in outbound sales and business development.
