Hi Alex. Consider investing in tech diligence assessing architecture, code base quality, tech debt, intellectual property/open source, cybersecurity and infrastructure/operations.

Depending on your search radius, some travel costs to meet the seller in-person. Be sure to have some margin in your budgeting, here are a few things to factor in. Dead deal costs, if the deal doesn't end up closing, you still may have to pay your QoE provider and other providers, so check fee arrangements. Bank fees are included in the loan, but they may want a deposit during the underwriting phase which can be a few thousand. Not an expense, but banks want you to have some money left over and not you depleting your savings for the transaction. What this is I think depends, but keep that in mind too.
