Thanks to all that have offered feedback on the stories. It's been overwhelming and much appreciated.
Last week, I shared an email story with the title "2 babies born 12 days apart. 1 dad: Me" - The story delved into my experiences managing closing my deal and having a son 12 days apart in two cities 1100 miles apart.
I go on to talk about some things in hindsight that helped.
One of those ideas I called "Get paid. Get help".
The truth of the matter is in this role, you will have to delegate, not just on the work side but also on the family side of things. To do that, you need money. For searchers with investors, I'd suggest negotiating your pay packages accordingly. For those that self fund their deals, plan to buy time back with those you love by setting aside some funds to do so.
Over the next few weeks, I'll delve into other key issues such as how I have used the "acqui-hire" strategy to grow the business, Wrestling with the choice to rebrand (or not), dealing with the pandemic etc.
Looking forward to your continued feedback. www.rookieceo.co
