Roofing company diligence advice

Hi everyone, I'm rapidly moving toward an LOI on a small roofing company. Have any of you done significant diligence on home/commercial roofing or construction service companies? Anything unique to these types of business I should test for? Any other advice?

I looked at a fairly successful painting company. The business was very cyclical. January through March or even sometime April they hemorrhaged money but they made it up in the summer time. Ask for their monthly P&L for the last 3 years. It should tell you a lot. Roofing should be similar.
