Resurfacing After my First Deal Fell Through
I’m a self-funded searcher looking to acquire a business in the Puget Sound area (Seattle, WA metro). My entrepreneurial roots run deep. I grew up in a large family where everyone owned their own business, and I was the first in my family, among 30+ cousins, to graduate from college. From there, I took a non-traditional path: I did the corporate climb, jumped into the VC funded startup world, and have now committed fully to the Self-Funded Search model. I’m fresh out of the trenches. I just spent the last 5 months working closely with a business owner on a "try-before-you-buy" deal structure. Unfortunately, the deal ultimately fell through. While disappointing, the hands-on experience was invaluable, and I’m energized to find my next opportunity. What I'm Looking For: Geography: Greater Seattle / Puget Sound Region Industries of Interest: Manufacturing, Environmental Services, Infrastructure, and Construction. Target Size: $1M to $3M purchase price range (generating $400k to $800k in EBITDA) I’m looking to connect with investors, lenders, service providers, and fellow searchers in the Pacific Northwest or the broader self-funded ecosystem. Please feel free to reach out, I’d love to connect! redacted
