Hi,

I am looking to start fundraising soon, and I wanted to know if anyone had any tips or resources on pitching prospective search fund investors.

Also, are traditional searchers expected to have a bulletproof private placement memorandum? Meaning the PPM should be thoroughly vetted by a lawyer before any engagement/outreach takes place with a search fund investor?

Thank you all!

How much are you raising? If you're sending around to friends and family, certainly not. Steve Ressler has a great two page deal memo that answers 95% of what an LP would want to know. Reach out to him and he'll share!
