At the discretion of Fairfield’s founder, Research Associates may keep all marketing lists and industry research they produce during the associate program. Fairfield research associates are responsible for developing investment ideas and identifying high value acquisition opportunities, specifically: • Generate new ideas for industry research • Identify acquisition opportunities through industry research • Evaluate opportunities for fit with Fairfield’s criteria • Assist Fairfield’s founder in due diligence, which will likely include owner conversations, valuation, product and market assessment Note: Prospecting emails will NOT be a meaningful responsibility for research associates
