Position Overview We are seeking highly motivated Research Assistant Interns to support our acquisition and executive search efforts. This is an excellent opportunity for students or early-career professionals interested in private equity, mergers & acquisitions, entrepreneurship through acquisition (ETA), corporate development, finance, and business strategy. You will work directly with the Founder and gain exposure to the process of building an acquisition company from the ground up. Responsibilities Research executive and board-level candidates. Identify acquisition opportunities within the plumbing and HVAC industries. Conduct company and market research. Perform background research and due diligence on individuals and businesses. Gather information from public sources including company websites, LinkedIn, SEC filings, and news articles. Organize research findings into professional reports and spreadsheets. Assist with special projects as assigned. Qualifications Strong internet research skills. Excellent written and verbal communication. Highly organized with strong attention to detail. Self-motivated and able to work independently. Proficient with Microsoft Office or Google Workspace. Interest in business, finance, entrepreneurship, mergers and acquisitions, or private equity is preferred but not required. What You'll Gain Direct mentorship from the Founder.
