Remote Junior Analyst Internship (Ontario, Canada)

We're a rapidly growing M&A advisory firm focused on supporting US buyers in their acquisition journey. We're now looking to bring on a Junior Analyst to join our organization in supporting our buy-side partners. We have ample room for growth and would prefer to bring someone in who sees that potential for growth to become a core part of our analyst team. The Role: The core role for our analysts is to move through deal information to identify the good from the bad and present the good to our partners. Having knowledge in financial statements, modeling, deal analysis and understanding of the Google Suite (sheets primarily) would be a key to this role. Our analyst team performs the bulk of our deal processing work in reviewing a deal, modeling it out, presenting it to a partner for feedback and then processing it through to the next step of the acquisition process. You will be exposed to deals across the US and of all types. The dedication put forward in this role will be worthwhile for those who look at this role as a stepping stone. We have ample opportunity to go well beyond the role of an analyst and take part in performance driven compensation as part of that.
