Recommended Firms That Hire Operating Partners?

Hi SF community, after doing more self-reflection, I recognize that I am most interested in operating a company vs. conducting a tradition self-funded or sponsored search. In conducting research, there seems to be a "third way" into ETA via an Operating Partner role (i.e., you are hired by a PE/Family Office to run a business they have sourced/conducted due diligence/financed). When reviewing the universe of companies that hire Operating Partners, Alpine appears to be the gold standard. However, are there other companies that people are aware of? And, do people have thoughts/recommendations on which of these companies are worth networking with vs. staying away from? Thanks in advance!
