I'm looking for SBA lenders who are able to underwrite a smaller loan between $200-300k. Let me know if anyone has recommendations. Thanks!

^redacted‌ thank you for the tag. What is the purpose of the funding you are looking for? If it is for working capital or equipment for an existing business, we would have some options. If it is for a business acquisition, we have generally not found SBA lenders willing to do business acquisitions that small because it takes the same amount of work to do those deals as larger business acquisitions. We find most lenders start business acquisition financing at $350,000 to $500,000. If you have questions you can message me here or directly at redacted Good luck.

Consider building a relationship with local banks and credit unions as there are typically more banks open to SBA Express loans/LOCs (under $500k). And having a local banker that gets to know you and your business builds for future growth.
