Hey everyone, I'm a searcher and I've been trying to find real estate service companies (appraisal, title, home inspection).

The problem I'm running into is that it seems quite difficult to find any available opportunities. Does anyone have any advice on where to search for these opportunities? Here are some things I've tried:

-Using LinkedIn Sales Nav to find brokers with backgrounds in these industries.
-Trying to find previously sold deals and reach out to brokers associated with those.
-Reach out to brokers currently associated with these deals even if they are outside my SDE range.
-Reach out to brokers who are also realtors that might be using title/appraisal companies for residential real estate deals.

Hardy - I've gone deep looking into the residential appraisal space before. so feel free to reach out if I can help. If you want to cast a wider net for cold reachout, appraisal management companies (AMCs), appraisers, and title companies are licensed at the state level. Many states have a public list of these businesses, often with owner + contact information. For states without a public list, you can often submit a public records request online, or look at the national registry here - https://www.asc.gov/amc.

Hi ^redacted‌! I've represented clients in a few of these deals, particularly in the architecture industry. My clients have sold/acquired off market to others in the industry they know. Real estate communities are very tight nit, but they network a ton in person. I would join a few in person networking groups in the area in which you're looking to acquire a business and start making connections through that.
