As a result of the coronavirus, the global economy is under pressure like nothing we’ve ever seen before. The only certainty is that great change lies ahead. What shape those changes will take depends on the political landscape and climate in each country, among many other factors. These days I find myself wondering quite often about circumstances and responses in the 1930s around the world. Can anyone recommend resources on such topics — books, essays, podcasts, videos, and so on?

Jamie Catherwood over at InvestorAmnesia.com has some great blog posts. He publishes longform content weekly that takes a historical look at "modern" issues like fintech, pandemics, oil prices and equities, presidential elections etc.
