Raising Search Capital - Puerto Rico Traditional Search Fund

My name is Roberto, and I’m currently raising search capital with my co-principal, @redacted‌, for South Point Capital—a traditional search fund focused on opportunities in Puerto Rico. I bring a background in investment banking, FP&A, and M&A within a 300+ unit roll-up platform across the U.S. Renier’s experience spans operations, private equity, and restructuring, including direct P&L responsibility as COO of a local business generating over $1M in EBITDA. Our investment focus is on essential-service industries such as fire protection, commercial cleaning, logistics, pest control, and security. Puerto Rico, as a U.S. jurisdiction, presents a highly fragmented and predominantly owner-operated market that remains largely underserved by institutional capital. Many business owners are over the age of 50 and lack clear succession plans.
