What has been the hardest part of assessing management teams before closing?
It's something I've been thinking about lately.
Financials, customers, and operations can all be analyzed, but leadership capability seems much harder to evaluate from the outside.
Have you found any indicators that gave you confidence in a management team before an acquisition?
Or, on the flip side, have you ever felt confident in a team only to discover challenges after closing?
