Similar to Michael, a full QoE would be more than $10K, but depending on the topics you want covered and the audience of the final report, there is sometimes a way to provide you the service you want for much less than a full QoE.

Depends on Scope and requirements of lender. I have found Drew Vriesman to be very reasonable.
Worked with him on most recent deal where he had to recreate IS and BS over past 18 months...a lot of work. He was great.

The question is: Do you really need a QofE for such a small deal? Does the bank require it. A thorough review of the financials and general ledger as well as asking lots of questions of the seller will often be of more use to you personally than a QofE.

As with others above, I would not be under $10k but can try to structure the engagement to be advantageous. I've heard of buyers getting a QofE done for that amount, but it was completed by a CPA who had never performed a QofE, so they were poking around in the dark. Remember, you get what you pay for.

Also, keep in mind is that a smaller company generally has a less experienced accountant (a lot of times, somebody wearing multiple hats who may not have an accounting degree). Some of the messiest deals I've worked on have been the smaller ones.

I personally enjoy how many likes Drew got for pointing out how smaller deals are usually the messiest ones. All of the service providers saw that and couldn't like the comment quick enough (including me).
