Hello Everyone,

Question, do you all have an idea of where I could potentially purchase a list with local business owners (CPAs, Attorneys, Wealth Advisors, etc. etc.) in my area?

Any feedback on this topic would be greatly appreciated.

Commercial Data Providers: There are companies that specialize in compiling and selling business lists based on various criteria, including location and industry. Examples include InfoUSA, Dun & Bradstreet, and Hoovers. These providers often offer databases that can be filtered by specific professions and geographic areas. Chamber of Commerce and Professional Associations: Local chambers of commerce and professional associations (like bar associations for attorneys or CPA societies) sometimes provide member directories that you can access. Membership directories are often available for purchase or can be accessed by joining the organization. Online Directories and Social Media: Platforms like LinkedIn allow you to search for professionals based on location and industry. You can use advanced search filters to find specific types of professionals in your area. Other online directories like Yelp or Yellow Pages might also provide some information, although typically not as comprehensive or specialized. Networking and Referrals: Sometimes the most effective way to find local business owners is through networking. Attend local business events, seminars, or conferences related to finance, law, or wealth management. Building relationships can lead to referrals or introductions to relevant professionals. Local Business Directories: Local newspapers, business journals, or city-specific business directories often list local businesses, including professionals like CPAs and attorneys. These can sometimes be accessed online or in print.

For wealth / financial advisors you may want to consider accessing the data directly available from the SEC website. For other local professional services I've found LinkedIn the greatest help though best combined with one of the many lead generation tools.. though this can be an expensive route if you're not a professional marketer. Happy to hear from others about their experiences.
