Hi
I am a newbie in the market, so a basic question. Appreciate your input in advance.
I am writing an LOI for a business - should I write it from myself? Or should I create an LLC and write the LOI from LLC. Intuitively LLC makes more sense, but would love to hear pros / cons of both.

I don't think this is a huge decision that you need to overthink. LLC is better for professionalism and protection. The protection really matters in an NDA but not sure it's as relevant in an LOI. If you want to move fast, just write the LOI. If you want professionalism then form an LLC and move forward. Maybe others have a different opinion but that's mine.

I have generally used myself and something along the lines of "or one of his affiliates" type language. I'm not sure how much it matters but if you have to form a new entity for tax or other reasons it won't match the LOI anyways.
