Proof of funds at LOI as an independent sponsor?

For an independent sponsor deal, how does a sponsor show proof of funds in parallel to putting forth the LOI? I have a potential larger IS deal that I've come across in my search and it seems like we're getting close on terms, but they've requested proof of funds before co-signing the LOI. Any help or contacts is appreciated.
