I'm starting to evaluate Project / Workflow Management Software that could be used to optimize a window / door sales and installation business. Once a lead is converted to a customer, a final measure is conducted, permits are applied for, and materials are ordered. After 4-8 weeks, materials are delivered to the facility and the customer is contacted to schedule the installation. An average installation takes ~1 week. The Company currently manages this workflow with email and Sharepoint. The shortlist of solutions I'm evaluating to help increase efficiency and tracking of these steps are Airtable, Asana, Monday, Jobber, and HouseCall Pro. Any advice on aspects to consider or red flags to avoid when evaluating new software would be very helpful. Additionally, if anyone has completed a similar implementation in the window installation (or adjacent) business, it would be great to connect and share notes.

I think it probably depends on exactly what problem you're trying to solve/optimize. Asana, airtable, clickup, Monday all can work but all will need a little bit of customization/integrations to likely make it work how you want. Sharepoint...likely can do this as well, so be sure it's a tool issue rather than a people issue. The real challenge will be training everyone on how to do it this way and not fall into old habits.
