Ravencourt Capital is a Milan-based private markets advisory platform focused on capital formation, M&A, private company mandates, search funds, independent sponsors, and cross-border private markets execution. We are looking for a commercially driven intern / junior associate to support origination, mandate sourcing, and strategic outreach across private markets. This is a hands-on role for someone who already understands financial sales, founder outreach, investor conversations, and the discipline required to generate qualified meetings. This is **not** an academic or observational internship. The role is execution-oriented and suited to someone who can identify relevant opportunities, approach founders / searchers / sponsors / investors professionally, and help create qualified meetings for Ravencourt’s senior team. **Core responsibilities** * Source and qualify potential mandates across private companies, search funds, independent sponsors, funds, and capital-seeking opportunities. * Identify relevant founders, searchers, CEOs, sponsors, investors, family offices, and private markets counterparties. * Conduct structured outbound outreach through LinkedIn, email, SearchFunder, and other relevant professional channels. * Generate qualified introductory meetings for Ravencourt’s senior team. * Maintain disciplined tracking of outreach, responses, follow-ups, meeting outcomes, and next steps. * Support basic market mapping, investor / counterparty profiling, and mandate-fit assessment. * Assist with selected follow-ups, meeting preparation, and pipeline coordination. * Where appropriate and authorised, support early-stage commercial conversations under Ravencourt’s supervision. **Required profile** * Current university student, master’s student, MBA candidate, or recent graduate in finance, business, economics, management, entrepreneurship, or a related field. * Minimum 1 year of experience in financial sales, business development, private markets, investment banking, M&A, search funds, venture capital, private equity, capital raising, or founder / investor outreach. * Strong written communication skills and professional judgment. * Comfortable with outbound outreach and commercial follow-up. * Able to handle rejection, iterate messaging, and remain disciplined across a pipeline. * Strong interest in private markets, capital formation, M&A, and entrepreneurial finance. * Mature, reliable, commercially serious, and able to work independently. **Preferred background** * Prior exposure to search funds, independent sponsors, private equity, venture capital, M&A boutiques, placement advisory, investment banking, corporate finance, or B2B financial services. * Existing familiarity with SearchFunder, LinkedIn outreach, CRM tools, investor mapping, or founder-led deal sourcing. * Ability to bring or develop proprietary lead flow. **Engagement structure** This is a part-time, execution-focused opportunity. There is no fixed salary attached to the role. Subject to performance, eligibility, applicable law, and a separate written arrangement, Ravencourt may consider performance-linked recognition / commission-style economics for qualified opportunities that are directly originated, properly documented, approved by Ravencourt, and converted into signed and paid mandates. Any such recognition would be subject to Ravencourt’s internal approval, legal / administrative feasibility, and clear written documentation.
