We are seeking highly motivated interns to assist us with deal sourcing efforts (broker-led, no spamming or cold calls). We have built a robust sourcing process, and have several deals close to LOI. The interns would also be helping with market research, due diligence, financing, and some financial modeling. You’ll get exposure to all parts of the deal cycle and walk away with technical skills, market knowledge, understanding of the deal sourcing/closing process, and more.
Hopeful to bring high energy, self-starters to help us close deals! This unpaid internship would suit someone looking to break into Investment Banking or PE or someone.
Background on me: I have had a long career in IB, PE and Corp Dev. Most recently, I served as a Partner in a $15 Billion Private Equity firm, and as CFO and Board member of a public company (other board members were ex-CEO of AIG, Chairman of SoFI, Board member of Mastercard, and many other luminaries). Prior to that, I ran Corp Dev for a Fortune 100 company where my team closed over two dozen transactions.
With strong performance, you’ll gain recommendations for other jobs or MBA programs, access to my network, and if desired support with MBA applications. I leveraged such an unpaid internship myself to break into investment banking about 2 decades ago. I want to give back and will do my best to provide mentorship and networking support.
1) Commitment: Minimum 10 hours per week. Higher time commitment is preferred during the summer before classes resume
2) Unpaid
3) Virtual
4) Immediate start date preferred, but can be flexible
We look forward to your application. Please apply using the Google Form mentioned above. Applicants who don’t complete the form won’t be considered.
