by a professional from Duke University in New York, NY, USA

We’re hiring 1–2 summer interns at DealDogs, a tech platform that helps private equity firms, independent sponsors, and intermediaries identify off-market SMB acquisition opportunities. You’ll work directly with me (ex-PE at Searchlight and ex-IB at Greenhill) on various projects at the intersection of private equity, technology, and go-to-market strategy. Day-to-day this could look like: - Conducting market research and developing industry theses (e.g., fragmented sectors, roll-up opportunities) - Identifying and mapping active acquirers based on industry focus and investment criteria - Developing go-to-market strategies and supporting direct, targeted outreach You’ll get direct exposure to private equity firms, independent sponsors, and their portfolio companies, along with front-row seats to how software products are developed and refined in real time. You'd be a great fit for this role if you're curious, proactive, and comfortable working in an unstructured environment. And, more importantly, are interested in the intersection of private equity and software. This is an unpaid position with a potential performance bonus. To apply, please email redacted with your resume and a short note about one industry you find interesting for PE and why. Bonus points for non-obvious sectors!
