This is a 6-8 week PAID Part-Time Spring Internship beginning in mid-January. Do not apply if you are not able to dedicate time###-###-#### hours per week, flexible, part-time###-###-#### during this period. Compensation is $600 to $800 in total for the Internship depending on # of weeks.
Cellar Door Equity Partners (CDEP) is a funded Lower Middle Market Private Equity firm based in Los Angeles, California. Our principal has worked in Investments for over 20 years including as a Managing Director at a $10B firm along with experience in distressed, real estate and growth equity. We are actively bidding on private businesses with $10 to $50 million of revenue in the Healthcare, Education and Financial Services sectors. CDEP is backed by the most active Lower Middle Market sponsor in the United States – closing approximately one deal per month with an average enterprise value of $25 to $30 million.
We are hiring 2 Private Equity Interns to assist with private equity target identification and outreach. Additionally, Interns will complete at least one multi-week Industry market mapping project (inorganic growth, organic growth, competitive landscape, leadership evaluation) which will form the basis of Investment Committee memo's on active deals.
Interns will gain unique and valuable insight into the entire private equity process from an active firm – from sourcing, to deal evaluation, to value creation strategy.
Ideal candidates will have demonstrated experience in:
- Company Research
- Market Analysis
- Detailed Investigative Abilities (beyond AI tools)
- Elite Problem Solving
- Strong Interest in Finance
- Background in Executive Communication
