Company Description: We are a lower middle market private equity firm that specializes in investing in lower middle market businesses. Our team of experienced professionals works closely with portfolio companies to drive growth and maximize value. We are looking for a motivated and talented individual to join our team as a Private Equity Intern. Job Description: As a Private Equity Intern, you will be an integral part of our team, assisting with a range of activities related to investment analysis, due diligence, and portfolio management. You will work closely with our investment professionals to evaluate potential investment opportunities, conduct market research, and perform financial analysis. In addition, you will help support portfolio companies by analyzing financial statements and developing operational strategies. Responsibilities: Conduct market research to identify potential investment opportunities Assist with financial analysis and due diligence on potential investments Develop financial models and perform valuation analysis Help prepare investment memos and presentations Assist with monitoring and managing portfolio companies Analyze financial statements and develop operational strategies Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications: Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field Strong analytical and quantitative skills Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Interest in private equity and investment management Duration: 3-6 months; starting June 10th 2024 Location: Remote Compensation: This is an unpaid internship, but we offer academic credit and the opportunity to gain valuable experience in the private equity industry.
