Private equity intern (Milan)

Athena Holding is an investment company focused on acquiring middle-market businesses in Italy. We are looking for Italian-speaking interns (analyst or associate level) on a rolling basis who are interested in a hands-on learning experience with many of the core activities involved with running a middle market private equity firm. Interns should expect to develop a fundamental knowledge of the process by which middle market companies are bought and sold. They will gain a working understanding of the industry participants involved in middle market transactions and will have the opportunity to be involved in the acquisition sourcing, investment thesis creation, financial modeling and due diligence processes. Numerous learning, coaching, mentoring and other development opportunities will be available as well as introductions and references into various work (PE, IB, consulting) and MBA communities (INSEAD, LBS, IESE, etc.). Skills & Qualifications: • Coursework in Finance and Accounting • Previous internships or work experience in finance, investment banking, private equity, consulting • Excellent analytical skills • Strong work ethic and tenacious • Resourceful attitude towards research • Natural curiosity in how business and finance work • Professional or better level of Italian Practical information below • Pay: Unpaid • Hours per Week: >30 • Duration: >8 weeks • Location: flexible, preferably Brussels or Milan area Interested candidates should send resumes to: redacted
