Interns should expect to develop a fundamental knowledge of the process by which middle market companies are bought and sold. They will gain a working understanding of the industry participants involved in middle market transactions and will have the opportunity to be involved in the acquisition sourcing, investment thesis creation, financial modeling and due diligence processes.
Numerous learning, coaching, mentoring and other development opportunities will be available as well as introductions and references into various work (PE, IB, consulting) and MBA communities (INSEAD, LBS, IESE, etc.).
Skills & Qualifications: • Coursework in Finance and Accounting • Previous internships or work experience in finance, investment banking, private equity, consulting • Excellent analytical skills • Strong work ethic and tenacious • Resourceful attitude towards research • Natural curiosity in how business and finance work
Practical information below • Pay: Unpaid • Hours per Week: >30 • Duration: >8 weeks • Location: Brussels or Milan area, in-person meetings will take place on a regular basis
