Looking for an unpaid intern to help assist our healthcare services focused search fund and identify and evaluate small businesses that may be ready to sell.
Your main role will be in sourcing opportunities, connecting with owners, and supporting early-stage deal work like obtaining and analyzing financial results
What You’ll Do:
Source Opportunities: Identify and research potential acquisition targets, building structured lists with key details such as company name, owner contact information, services offered, and online presence.
Owner Outreach & Scheduling: Execute multi-channel outreach across mail, email, phone, and LinkedIn, and coordinate introductory conversations with business owners.
Conversation Management: Keep detailed notes, track follow-ups, and ensure owners are engaged, prepared, and excited to speak with our team.
Post-Call Summaries: Create concise one-page briefs after calls, capturing company background, key insights, potential risks, and recommended next steps.
Financial Exposure: Collect high-level financial information (revenue, profitability, etc.) and assist in preparing simple summaries to support deal evaluation.
CRM Discipline: Maintain clean, accurate CRM records to ensure no opportunities are missed.
Who You Are:
Highly curious, organized, detail-oriented, and high energy/confident
Comfortable initiating conversations with business owners and asking thoughtful questions
Interested in learning the full lifecycle of small business acquisitions, from sourcing through early financial analysis
Energized by a fast-moving environment with meaningful, hands-on responsibility
