Private Equity Extern

*must be a current Sophomore, Junior, Senior or Graduate Student* My partner and I are former colleagues at Blackstone and experienced healthcare entrepreneurs, having founded or led companies that have raised $1bn+. We recently started a healthcare-focused investment firm, having closed our first deal last month (a public company carve-out) and are looking to add 1-4 externs to assist in ramping our acquisition engine. Primary responsibilities include: - Developing and researching major investment themes and target industries - Gathering contact information for intermediaries, advisors, and private company owners - Outreach to business owners and industry advisors, as well as and marketing to bankers, brokers, and industry advisors - Providing candid feedback on outreach templates and business negotiations - Helping identify deals that align with our investment strategy - Managing freelancers and leveraging technology (CRM, sourcing, and outreach tools) to maximize impact Please read the attached PDF if interested
