East-Coast private investment and management group is currently accepting applications for a part-time Private Equity Analyst. This position is designed to be a 2-3-year apprenticeship program with a high degree of mentoring, responsibility, and career advancement potential. The analyst may start remotely, but the preference is to eventually be located in Clearwater, FL.

ABOUT THE FIRM Triple Three Partners is a private Technology-focused investment firm. Our investment activities focus on opportunity-driven, value-added acquisitions and development projects. Our focus on potential acquisition targets is centered around IT companies. We are looking for both mid-market commercial companies and federal/state contractors.

A recapitalization allows a business owner to “take some chips off the table” by selling part of the company while maintaining a continued ownership position. Triple Three Partners seeks to partner with some or all of the existing management team.

ABOUT THE POSITION As an Analyst, you will report directly to our Director of Corporate Finance and be responsible for assisting with all matters specifically relating to deal evaluation and deal execution. Over time, additional responsibilities may include oversight and support of portfolio companies.

Your primary responsibilities will include (1) focus efforts on financial model creation, analyze and make recommendations regarding submitted past and future performance, building, and maintaining financial models (historical, forecasts, Pro-forma, DCF, LBO), (2) conducting industry and company due diligence on acquisition targets, 3) track all required submitted due diligence documents per the due diligence checklist, 4) assist in coordinating due diligence and modeling for debt opportunities, 5) assist in preparation of memorandums.

This is a part-time with a minimum expectation of 20 hours per week. With opportunities to transition to a full-time position and will be eligible for promotion after 2-3 years to an Associate position. Associates are eligible for participation in an employee profit share program based upon carried interest and/or executive positions at portfolio companies.

COMPENSATION STRUCTURE Compensation includes an hourly wage with performance-based increases, and transaction bonuses. Analysts will also receive meaningful senior-level training/mentorship and will have the ability to play a significant role in executing live M&A transactions. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone seeking a career in private equity or investment banking.

QUALIFICATIONS Candidates must have a business-related degree from a competitive school and have at least 24 months of experience (including meaningful internships) within management consulting, investment banking, PE/VC, business/corporate development, search funds, or strategic planning.
