Position Summary PortCo is seeking a highly organized, customer-oriented leader to oversee product coordination, operational execution, customer relationships, and market-facing initiatives. This role will serve as a key bridge between our customers, internal team, and company leadership, helping ensure that our products evolve in line with customer needs while the business operates efficiently and professionally. The ideal candidate is comfortable wearing multiple hats and can move between strategic thinking and hands-on execution. This person will help shape product priorities, strengthen customer relationships, represent the company at trade shows and industry events, and build foundational marketing programs such as customer communications, newsletters, website coordination, and other brand-supporting initiatives. Key Responsibilities Product Leadership and Coordination • Develop, drive and maintain a strategic vision for PortCo’s product roadmap • Gather customer feedback and internal input to help define product priorities and roadmap recommendations • Work closely with leadership and technical teams to translate customer and market needs into clear product direction • Help manage and prioritize enhancements, fixes, and product improvement initiatives • Ensure product decisions align with customer value, operational realities, and company strategy • Support product launches, feature communication, and customer adoption efforts Operations • Oversee and improve internal operational processes to support customer delivery and business efficiency • Coordinate across teams to ensure projects, implementations, and customer needs are executed effectively • Identify bottlenecks and recommend practical process improvements • Help create greater structure, accountability, and consistency across day-to-day operations • Track and report on key operational and customer-related metrics • Work with the accounting to create accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual billing for the customers and escalate any challenges faced with billing and collections Customer Relationships • Serve as a senior point of contact for customers and develop strong long-term relationships • Conduct regular customer check-ins to understand needs, gather feedback, and strengthen account health • Help manage renewals, escalations, major service issues, and strategic customer conversations • Act as the voice of the customer internally • Support customer retention by ensuring customers feel heard, supported, and informed Trade Shows and Industry Presence • Represent PortCo at trade shows, conferences, and industry events • Coordinate event participation, messaging, follow-up, and relationship-building activities • Help identify relevant industry associations, events, and networking opportunities • Strengthen the company’s visibility and reputation within the transit and paratransit industry Marketing and Customer Communication • Build and manage a small but effective customer-facing marketing program • Develop regular customer communications such as newsletters, product updates, announcements, and educational materials • Help coordinate updates to the company website, messaging, and core marketing materials • Support efforts to improve brand presentation and customer engagement • Create simple, practical programs to keep customers informed and connected to PortCo
