Hi yall - I have an idea for a pool services roll up business in LA/SoCal. I've been working as a pool equipment manufacturer for the past 4 years and believe there's an opportunity to roll it up and have pool service run more in a more automated and tech-friendly way. I would love to chat with anyone who has done this before, understand the minutiae of the rollup and see what learnings/partnerships I can take away.

I can help you with ideas. I work with many of these guys in the rollup space for pools and know the playbooks (without sharing their "secret sauce"). There are some common structures. (1) Services rollup (cleaning, maintenance city/region) --- probably most expensive due to p/e - not much meat on bone except in small markets, (2) Integrated regional (pool renovations, new pool construction, landscaping, coping, fencing) - emerging, fastest way to really get synergies and favorable multiple buyin.
