We have designed a buy side approach that leverages the energy of 100+ high quality undergrad and grad interns from top b-schools paired with the experience of 40+ ex-CEOs like me. It is a smart repurposing of the outreach in a traditional M&A buy side motion which means the result is off market sellers. Cost is $7k per month, but that is payable against a success fee on close. Consider it the fee needed to mobilize the resources for a successful search. Success fee is in line with market and obviously only payable on close. However, remember that there is no sell side i-banker or broker fee baked into the deal. The approach works particularly well if you have an unusual search, for example a very strict geography or if you have been struggling to find off market deals.
